Tomorrow, I am planning to use LiveType to create my titles and credits. LiveType is a program I have access to, which allows for the creation of professional, neat looking film titles. After analysing a number of shot films, I came across an idea I felt worked really well, particularly for cute, quirky little films such as Archie, which had a similar feel to mine. In Archie, the only title was the films name, which appeared overlayed at the beginning of the film (although was featured in the scene as the name of a shop in the background). The credits, which featured names such as the actors, director, musical director and costume, was displayed at the end, without scrolling, but simply appearing. For my film, I have decided to go for a similar theme. The title "A Sketchy Kind of Love" will appear nearing the beginning overlayed onto the piece of paper. The credits, which will feature similar names to Archie, will appear on the folded piece of paper at the end, although these will not scroll like usual credits - I am hoping to find a "sketchy" type-shot, which moves a little, adding some movement to the ending.Wednesday, 14 November 2012
