As well as creating the title, I also created the credits. These were made in order to be overlayed on a piece of paper, similarly to the title. The piece of paper this time is folded, in order to suggest that he has folded up his drawing(s) as a representation of the ending. The font, colour and scale was all kept the same as the title, although everything needed to be quite a bit smaller in order to fit 'on the piece of folder paper'. As first, I attempted to create two columns, one on the left side for the character/role the person played (e.g boy, girl, costumer designer), and the other for the persons name. I was pretty happy with how this looked, seeming quite professional. However, the piece of folded paper takes up the centre of the shot and is a lot taller than wide. My credits were the opposite, being more wide than long, meaning that when placed over the shot, the words seemed to come off the side of the paper on to the desk - which for obvious reasons didn't work. In a second attempt I tried making it more of a list, having the writing more central with both the names and the role appearing consecutively after each other. This was more like a 'list' format, and being 'tall and skinny', fitted over the folded paper perfectly.

Production of the Title
Today I started using Live Type in order to put together a title, and some credits. As stated previously, my title will appear at the beginning, overlayed in front of a shot of some paper - this is so it looks like it has been drawn onto the paper, suiting the theme. The font I decided to use was one of three possible 'live fonts', which means the font itself moves on the spot. I used 'string' which makes 'sketchy' movements - difficult to describe, but it looks good! I could also change the colour, although I wanted black in order to represent the colour of a pencil/pen, and was able to change the scale (x and y), which allowed the letters to be closer together or further apart - I wanted mine to be closer together in order to look more scruffy (like how a sketch would be). One difficult part of creating the titles was estimating the size. As I wanted the text to fit overlayed and central to the piece of paper, I needed to roughly estimate where I needed to position and save my titles. This took a few attempts, but it was fairly easy to re-save the Live Type file and re-render it onto Final Cut if I had made a poor estimate.
