MORE Editing!

A photograph of a missing shot
Today I have been continuing with the editing process. Everything was going well until I could not find a few shots! This is quite worrying, although I am hoping they are on the memory card of the video camera which I should have access to in a couple of days time - if they are not in there, I will need to think about re-filming! These include one of the sketched shots, and the shot where Ed drops the plate in the sink, hurting Katie's hand.

Time-lapsing

I have also had to time lapse one of the sketched shots today - the first one I have had to do on Final Cut Express (I did the others on the more recent Final Cut Pro). It was a different technique to the other program, and it gave me a warning that because the time would be sped up by a significant amount, some frames may be missing, making it look a little jumpy. However, I didn't find this to be a big problem, I think it flows well and is fast enough for what I want.

Changing the percentage
of time-lapse speed
What I still need to do before the draft deadline:

- Finish putting the shots of the last scene together
- Speeding up the rest of the sketching shots
- Adding in the photographs of the sketches (they come after the drawings have been sketched)
- Adding the titles ("A Sketchy Kind of Love" overlayed over the paper and the page of credits at the end)
- Play around with the colour and possibly have a sepia tone
- Create the music (I am thinking of using a ukulele, post to follow)
- FIND THE MISSING SHOTS! (Or re-fim if it comes to it)
