1. The boy sits down on his chair at his desk
2. He starts drawing a picture of the girl, standing holding a picnic basket
3. This cuts to the scene - the boy jogs into the shot and greets the girl, they set up the picnic, they play frisbee and he hugs her.
4. The situation becomes a little awkward as they stand there staring at eachother.
5. The music stops, as it becomes obvious that something should be said. There is a close up of the boys face, stuttering. This is cut to the boy back at his desk, who has the same nervous face.
6. The boy writes the words "I love you" on a peice of paper (this tells the audience what the awkward situation was about - he failed to pluck up to courage to say "I love you"). The camera cuts back to the scene, where the girl looks disappointed as they pack up and depart.
7. The boy grabs another peice of paper
The latter sequence then continues for 2 more similar scenes (except the locations and activites are different), and rather than writing "I love you" again, he just gets frustrated with it, underlining it one time and circling it the next, pressing down hard on the paper. These two other locations are:
- The living room (watching tv)
For the last scene (watching tv), after step 6 (the negative part - probably the girl shuffling to the other side of the sofa), the moving image is cut to a drawen image (like the boy has been drawing the whole thing). This would be the negative image, so her shuffled away. The boy will rub this out with an rubber, and start to draw the first shot of the fourth and final scene - what he wishes happened. In this, the boy mimes "I love you" whilst they are on the sofa, she smiles, and they share a hug. This then cuts to the final sketch of this hugging shot, and then to the boys face at the desk, who stares at the paper and walks away.
