Today I have spent time working on my film poster in order to make it look a little more conventional. To do this I added a release date, tagline, billing block and another quote (which I am unsure of as yet, it will not be "something something"!). I have played around with the positioning and this is the first layout I've come to, although I understand that this will most likely change once I get feedback and play around a little more. As yet I am unsure about the position of the billing block - it looked good in that position on the (500) Days of Summer poster I analysed but I am now not sure whether it looks right for mine. I am also unsure about the location of the tagline. I feel that it's probably too important to be positioned at the bottom of the screen along with the release date. These are things which will most likely change next time I work on the poster.
