*Light Bulb*

I have finally come up with an idea for a way the boy can insinuate that he is trying to tell the girl he loves her for the park scene! I couldn't think of anything imaginative, but in a way I think it would be good if the first time he tries to say it, he literally does try through conventional speech. This makes it seem as though the boy experiments with the ways he tries to say it (through alphabet spaghetti and washing-up liquid), which may make it easier (he doesn't have to say it literally).
Here's what I thought could happen:
  1. They lay the picnic rug down
  2. Get the food out
  3. They settle down and the moment becomes awkward and silent
  4. They look at each other lovingly
  5. The awkward moment comes when she is seemingly waiting for him to tell her he loves her
  6. He puts a frisbee in front of his face, insinuating that they should play
  7. She looks annoyed and sighs, whilst he tries to look excited about the frisbee
Speaking of the frisbee, I completely forgot to put it on my 'props-to-get' list! We do own a frisbee at home, so luckily this is not too much of a problem.
